Return Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible for a return, items must meet the following conditions:

Video: customers are required to take an unboxing video before opening the package to ensure transparency and justification for return.

  • Unchanged and Undamaged: The gemstone must be returned in its original, unused, and unaltered condition, free from any damage, chips, nicks, scratches, or changes in weight.
  • Original Package and Contents: The gemstone must be returned with its original invoice, package, documentation, certifications, and any free gifts that were included.
  • Quality Control Inspection: All returned gemstone(s) are subject to inspection by our quality control team.

Non-Refundable charges:

  • Shipping charges, taxes (VAT), and duties are non-refundable.
  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.
  • For credit card payments, a 5% payment processing fee charged by HDFC Bank Payment Gateway is non-refundable.
  • PayPal transactions do not incur a deduction for transaction fees.
  • Custom-ordered lab certificates, beyond any free certificate provided with the gemstone, are non-refundable.

Return Multiple Loose Gemstones

  • You can return the remaining gemstones. Under our “Risk-free” policy, you can return other gemstones, but it must be strictly within the “10 day” return window. In the circumstances the gemstone has been altered in any way or form, chipped, nicked, damaged, set, scratched, has a different weight, the item will not be received for a full refund.

  • To be eligible for a return, you must include the complete contents of your original delivery, strictly within the “10 day” return window. This includes certificates, invoices, documentation, lab certificates, original package, and any discount coupons that were sent with your purchased gemstone.
    • If you’ve misplaced any of these documents, you may not be eligible for a full refund. However, you will still be eligible for a partial replacement or credit. Please note: If a gemstone has made with specific customizations, our standard return policy may not apply. To return a gemstone, please follow these steps:

  • Initiate Return Request: Within 3 hours from the time of receipt, customers must create a Return Request (RR) through your account on our website and attach unboxing video of your gemstone when you receive and open the package justifying your return reason.
  • RR Confirmation and Contact: Once your return is accepted, an RR number will be generated, notifying us of your intent to return the item. Our team will review the details and contact you.
  • Retain Original Items: Please keep all original items sent along with the gemstone, such as the Original Product Certificate, original/copy of the invoice, packaging, documentation, lab certificates, and discount coupons.
  • Prepare for Dispatch: customers must ensure to dispatch to Kyatham’s registered office and ensure the parcel is delivered before the 10-day (240-hour) return window expires.
  • Secure Shipping: Pack the items carefully and ship them only through a reputable courier provider with insurance. We suggest and highly recommend using our service partners DTDC and DHL.
  • Update Tracking: Please update your tracking details in your account on our website or share them directly with our team.
  • Courier Acceptance: Confirm that your chosen courier service provider fully accepts precious gems, considering their value and the necessary insurance coverage.
  • Defective Gemstone Policy: In the case of a defective gemstone, you must report it to us within 3 hours of delivery.
